Parga- A place where you can always enjoy in perfect clear, blue sea and sandy beaches

No, it is not a mistake in writing. Today we are talking about Parga, not Prague! It is a small place in Greece where the weather is always nice and the sea is always clearly blue. Parga is located in northwestern Greece. With it`s population of around 13.000 citizens, and a 276.5m2 municipality area, Parga has to offer amazing beaches and a beautiful sea.

City of Parga

We can start with Valdos beach. 3km long Valdos beach is practically in 10 minutes walking from the center of Parga. Things that this beach offers: beautiful sand, clear water, many beach bars and restaurants, water bikes for rent, water skiing, diving and so much more.

Lihnos beach is quite distant from the city. You can visit the beach walking around 2hours thru olive forest, or you can drive for maybe 20 minutes, or you can take a boat. No matter what you choose, you will have an extraordinary view. The beach is smaller than Valdos, but still very clean. There are couple of beach bars and restaurants and also a camp and hotels near beach you can sleep over.

Krioneri beach is practically in the center of Parga. Small beach where you can't always find a place to seat is maybe the best choice if you have kids. Near Krioneri beach there are lots of markets if you need to buy something. Less than a kilometer from the beach is the small island of Virgin Mary, you can visit swimming or by a sea bike.

Parga is also beautiful at night. There are lots of Greeks Taverns - places like restaurants, which among other things will offer you a great seafood meal and the traditional alcohol drink Ouzo. Also, you can buy interesting souvenirs for affordable prices.
